There are also parklands, water features, playgrounds, walking tracks and cycleways. In the future, The Ponds will have it's own community centre, retail precinct and playing fields.
The Ponds is not just a suburb, it is also a community where, through The Ponds Community Development Program, residents are welcomed and able to connect with others. It is a place to make new friends, be invloved in community activities and events and participate in interest groups. Residents receive regular newsletters to keep up to date with what is going on in their community.
